Texas Processor Incorporated

Texas Processor Incorporated (TPI) is a San Antonio Texas based corporation that began its existence in 1974. The company was founded with the intent of servicing the medical community specializing in office management. In 1979 TPI placed itself under contract with the Department of Defense to produce a system to capture incoming data, save, store, index and catalog it for retrieval at a later time. This information would then be converted to an acceptable output media and distributed to the using agency. This system is still in operation today and maintained by TPI. In 1984 TPI moved into related medical areas and by the end of that year was also moving into the offices of certified public accountants and lawyers. 1990 saw the creation of a moderate sized library control system that managed self inventory and cataloging as well as paper-less circulation control. During 1995 TPI moved into the local government arena by providing a paper-less e-mail communication system. In 1996 TPI began work on a record management and dispatch system for police use. Today TPI is moving forward toward its goal of becoming a dominant force in todays modern police department.
